The Ultimate Guide to Copyright, Trademark

& IP Strategy for Visionary Founders

A zero fluff only facts, real-world legal guide written by Céleste Athalia Reumert Refn, founder of GRAND IPR®, known as The Empress Of TradeMarks.

Endorsed and Edited by a Leading Voice in Intellectual Property

The foreword to both editions of this book was written by Professor Morten Rosenmeier, one of Denmark & Europe’s most influential IP legal scholars. However his involvement goes far beyond an introduction. Morten personally edited both the first and the newly updated second edition of this book.

In the European IP world, this is the equivalent of Elton John offering not just to play at your book launch, but coming back to headline your encore.

His continued belief in this work isn’t just an endorsement.
It’s a testament to the credibility, depth, and relevance of what’s inside.

Fun fact: Morten suggested to Céleste that she started a blog, while studying the law, on copyright. She had it for a few years and then scrapped it.

Céleste is the consummate professional as founder of GRAND IPR®. We first met through her workshops*; what began as a lively series quickly turned into one-to-one conversations about intellectual property and the hard truth that trade mark registration isn’t a “nice to have”, it’s foundational.

What sets Céleste apart is the depth and breadth of her thinking. She brings legal clarity without the legalese, couples it with sharp commercial judgment, and builds protection strategies that work in the real world, across borders, markets and business models. She asks the right questions, challenges assumptions, and moves you from Confusion to Clarity with calm authority.

Often called the Empress of Trade Marks, she leads with standards, not slogans. In my experience, her book is the definitive guide to protecting IP, a must-read for founders and brand leaders wherever they operate. If you’re serious about safeguarding your brand, methods and creative assets before someone else tries to benefit from them, speak to Céleste. You’ll get straight talk, strategic focus and outcomes that stand up to scrutiny.

What Readers Said About The First Edition

Morten Rosenmeier

Intellectual property rights play an enormously important part in modern society.

Back in the old days, it may have been possible to run a successful business without knowing anything about intellectual property rights. Now, however, one has to have a basic understanding of them in order to be successful.

This is especially relevant if you are starting up your own business. You will need an internet domain name. Often it will also be a good idea to register your business name as a trade mark.

I have enjoyed the book very much and I am sure that you will find it very interesting

I recommend it warmly

In a language even a blonde like me can understand 😂

Seriously though, I love how Celeste has written this book; in non-legal speak. It’s ground-breaking to be honest.

So often legal jargon can stand in the way of us all and especially of Business Owners when we want to rightly protect our ideas; it’s intimidating usually the language and the process.

This book Celeste has written demystifies it all from start to finish.

I whole recommend investing in a copy !

You’d be blonde not too

😂😅😘

I had an opportunity to read ‘Control Your Copyright, Trade Mark & More....’ by Céleste Reumert Refn. It provided an insight that I was fully able to follow to consider my options for my business.

As I am not given to reading technical detail as I lose interest
quite quickly, this book was less effort to read a ndprovided the clarity that I was hoping for.

It covers all aspects so it was easy to find the area I was looking for, which was brands.

Well recommended

About The Author

Navigating trademark applications exposes business owners to costly mistakes, infringement risks, and distractions from their core business focus.

As founder of GRAND IPR®️ and known as The Trademark Accelerator, Céleste is an international speaker, author, and multi-award-winning trademark specialist with an unbroken track record of 100% registered trademarks.

Her strategic trademark package ensures application success by proceeding only when registration is likely, preventing wasted resources on irregistrable marks.

Securing trademark protection now allows business owners to stay in their zone of genius while building lasting brand value through protected intellectual property assets.

Here you see Céleste in various speaker and presenting situations, both at Kortsagt and one of the business meetings at a café in Denmark she was under tech fire, however she kept going because: When founders show up, so does she. One of the pictures is out of focus, that's when she did the Speakers Corner at Birkerød Library
